MAGNOLIA and MELO

From the MAGNOLIA page choose the "Legal Collection" from the database list on the left.

To check out current event topics select TOPICsearch from the MAGNOLIA page. 

You may choose one current event, check full text, and click search. 

Or, you may choose a TOPIC from the list provided, check full text, and click search.

Go to MELO, click Opposing Viewpoints on the left, click proceed, and you'll find several controversial topics listed.  You may enter your topic if it's not listed - remember this is "Opposing" Viewpoints so you should be searching for something controversial.

On the high school library Web site there is a link to the Librarians' Internet Index.  Check that out for links by categories.  Under "Government" you'll find a link for "Law."

Find Law - search for Supreme Court decisions by date, links to Federal law, State law (you can search Mississippi or any other state), International law, locate and compare lawyers, etc.

Landmark Supreme Court Cases - listed by the name of the case and by concept (ex. federalism, due process, national supremacy, etc.)
