Luminarium:  Anthology of English Literature - broken into Medieval, Renaissance, 17th Century, and Restoration.  Each section contains links for people specific to that time period.  For each person categories of links include biographical information, essays and articles, quotes, pictures, and a list of additional resources for that person.  (For example, Some sites contain full text plays for that time period as well as general information about the period.  For example, for Medieval Lit., links to other resources are divided by History and Literature, Middle English, Medieval Manuscripts and Illuminations, Medieval Art, Medieval Architecture, Medieval Science and Medicine, the Plague, Medieval Women, Medieval Life, Medieval Life and Drink)

Myths and Legends

Myths and Legends - created by C. Siren, a high school physics teacher.  Siren has categorized tons of links related to myths and legends. There is a category separating the different creatures in myths (dragons, birds, mammals, human-like creatures, etc.  Siren has also categorized links by geographical area including Asian, American, Greek and Roman, Norse, British, etc.  He has broken each of these large geographical areas into small categories most of which are listed by countries.  For example:  British - Celtic, Cornish, Scottish, Anglo-Saxon, and Robin Hood.
